Problem with our indian education system

Everyone knows what education system is. Every parents, no matter how rich or poor they are, want to send their children to school, colleges and university atleast till graduation level. The question arises here. 

In this 21st century, the era of internet and globalisation, Is our education up to level? Is our education system right enough for 21st century? 

And, if the answer is "yes", then why lot of people are facing the problem of Unemployment even after having bachelor's and master's degrees in hand. 

The problem with our education system is that our system focuses on parrot learning insted of skill development ( basically till high school). Afterwards student become habitual of parrot learning from last 10-12 years carry on with the same attitude towards higher level education system. 

This is the best example of parrot learning. The above picture shows the drawback of parrot learning. Parrot learning stop the future growth prospectus of youngster along with making them incapable of thinking critically. It also kills creativity, flexbility, judgement and many other important skills which are ladder towards sucess. 

It sounds awful, but truth that because of parrot learning most of the youngster's mindset is diverted towards wrong direction. In spite of focusing towards skill development and acquiring knowledge they only focus on getting degree. 

Because of this mindset of youngster, our country is not only facing the problem of Unemployment but also of slow economic growth as well as low per capita income. 

In the era of internet and globalisation where apps get updated every second month, where Business man needs to update himself/herself regularly to survive in this competitive market, even a small merchant needs to keep updated himself/herself about new products, offer and prices to survive in the 21st century, why not our education system too. Why our education system is yet not updated from last so many years?. 

In order to make our economy to one of the best economy we need to update our education system as well. Our system need to shift the focus of parrot learning towards skill development. Skill development is the only key to boost the economy and to touch the new height of sucess among the world.
